HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Smart choice. So obviously manipulating the angered woman vote. *sighs*

Yeah.....we're all equals here. That's for sure. I hate this election circus. This is fucking lame.

Dems: A Black man for change!
Reps: Oh yeah? Well we got ourselves a woman on the ticket! Take that!
The People: Can we pls afford our lives nao? kthnx.

Tho considering how McCain feels comfy in talking to his wife, I'm glad I'm not the woman on his ticket. I mean, if he feels comfy in calling his wife a trollop and a tnuc in front of people, can you imagine the language he'll be sharing with his VP choice? Jeebus the humanity!

Yeah. I saw some of the speech with her and McCain. She just seems snobby with the way she speaks. But really to me, obama is probably going to lose this one. I may be cutting to the chase here but, i would hate to see obama lose.

Call me a democrat. But, honestly i think i am. The thing about the republicans is that their values and ways of doing things are too old. McCain wants to have offshore drilling and nuclear power plants. DJShiva said in another post that nuclear is extremely hard to dispose of. John McCain wants oil and nuclear. instead of alternative energy. Things that dig the world's environment into a deeper hole. I dont know. Im just thinking that if mccain gets elected, The United States is heading in the wrong direction. Inevitably

The Dems should have thought harder about addressing the sexism that went along with their initial Democratic National candidate. If they had only been more forthcoming and proactive, perhaps this nightmarish battle of the isms could have been averted. However, the Dems have asserted their position. And unf the Republicans have seized on this opportunity to "embrace" a disenfranchised demographic.

*sighs* And she doesn't have that much experience. Governor of a small city (pop 85K) for two years. Mayor and City Council. There are WAY more qualified women in the Republican party. I can't help wondering what led to this decision to pick a relatively unknown woman for this position...

Could it be that she is a mother of 6 and governor? That speaks to both mothers and working women--two strong voting demographics that the Dems decided to overlook, at least in appearances.

Seriously, I'm really highly insulted. By both. The Dems and the Republicans are at this point two halves of an equally evil coin and this blatant manipulation is disgusting.

How am I supposed to have faith in the process? Both sides are merely using demographics to pander and get their votes. I don't necessarily believe anything will change for people of color or women after the election is done. But....always important to make it look like they will to get the vote...

Fuckers. I hate this shit.

Couldn't disagree with you more.

She's the worst VP pick ever. Worse than Dan Quayle. McCain just flushed his campaign IMO.

She has no experience.

She can't debate.

She's embroiled in political scandals in Alaska, which has got to be one of the most corrupt states in the union.

Forward Obama.

that describes pretty much every election in the world, in the UK labour and tories are exactly the same. Its shit when you have to choose between a rock and a hard place or waste your vote.

Sarah Palin wrote:I still can’t answer that question until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the V.P. does every day? I’m used to being very productive and working real hard in an administration. We want to make sure that that V.P .slot would be a fruitful type of position, especially for Alaskans and for the things that we’re trying to accomplish up here for the rest of the U.S., before I can even start addressing that question.”

And scandal-icious.
[Alaska legislators] will hire an independent investigator to explore whether Palin, her family or members of her administration pressured Monegan to fire an Alaska state trooper involved in a rough divorce from Palin's sister.

Hold tight the republicans, always pushing things <<BWD

Not that the democrats are worth shit either for that matter, but at least they are willing to embrace the twentieth century if not the 21st

if they were willing to embrace the 21st century, McCain wouldn't have had the opportunity to use women this way.

is that joke? seriously?

the democratic primaries were completely fucked by this gender issue. barack didn't pick hilary coz too many people associate her with her husband. end of story.

die-hard hilary supporters need to let it go. they are BOTH good candidates compared to McCain, and if the Clinton camp hadn't started talking SO MUCH SHIT about obamma during the primaries, then maybe she would be in biden's place.

i would def prefer her to biden, btw. I think biden is a terrible choice and hilary would have been just as agood a pick to "fill in his resume"
