Kevin Martin aka The Bug comes to Boston on his first U.S. tour alongside Jamaica’s one and only Warrior Queen! His latest album London Zoo dropped in early August with a slew of heavy hitting beats combined with an amazing menagerie of singers and MC’s. The album rides a dark bass heavy wave that takes dancehall style beats and puts them through a blender adding distortion, grime, and glitch to produce some serious ear catching and booty shaking sounds. Yet each track stands out with its guest vocalist. Tippa Irie, Spaceape, Flowdan, Ricky Ranking, and Warrior Queen all make their presence known through their unique style of voice and flow.
So in celebration of London Zoo BASSIC is proud to present The Bug & Warrior Queen in their first U.S. appearance! They’ll be touching down live in Boston in full force with Kevin bringing the beats and Warrior Queen performing live on the mic. This is certainly a performance not to be missed! Best of all is that Jamaica’s very own will be up close and personal in the crowd during the night of the show!

We’ve also got Boston’s one and only DJ Elyte of Soul Clap (www.soulclap.us) playing a special set of garage and 2-step to celebrate the past and help usher in the future. Elyte’s vinyl collection is deeper than a black hole, so be prepared to hear some serious tunage you won’t find anywhere else!
And of course it wouldn’t be complete without BASSIC resident Damian Silva throwing down some serious dubstep & future dub beats to bring it all together in a nice neat little package!
