don't know whats going on with my power book
when i have the main window open in cubase and while my track is playin and i have my mixer open to adjust levels there is a cracking sound while i am moving my cursor !

any ideas ?

are you using an audio interface ?

do you use a ground loop isolater ?

latency - readjust buffer

Could be as simple as acoustic noise...if all your levels are full this happens...try moving your monitor away from your speakers/invest in better cables/turn everything down.
