Hey all,
I'm pleased to announce that working in collaboration with fliPPo (Pressing Issues/Formant/Sub Continental Dub), we've secured a timeslot on Sub.FM to represent all of Australia in Bassweight! Dubstep DownUnder (working title- suggestions welcome ;)) will be a weekly programme, alternating between DJs, Producers & Promoters in all the Aussie state capitals that host regular Dubstep events & moving across the country with a broadcast from each city every 4-5 weeks.

The show kicks off at 6pm AEST/9am GMT this coming Sunday the 21st September, with myself & the !113g@1 v@1u3 show continuing where the event in Brisbane, Queensland ends- having hosted tours of Quiet Storm, Pinch, Distance & Tipper, as well as exposing many local Underground Breaks&Bass DJs & Producers over the past 4 years. In the spirit of beginnings, I'll be playing a 2000-2005 retrospective mix of my early influences in Dubstep- won't be too many "standards" in that lot, but a lot of good lo-freq broken beat musique- and an exclusive selection/collection from a secret guest who will be revealed on the night :d: I'll also be able to advise who & where the programme will be hosted the following week by then, too.

Looking forward to showcasing our native talent & flipside-hemisphere sound in the weeks to come! Hope you can tune in to http://www.subfm.com to see what we're about down here :dubstep rave:

Btw. I hadn't counted on the UK still being on Daylight Savings Time, so it's actually 6-8pm AEST until November.

Going to air shortly! Hopefully the storm in the skies that's clearly headed this way won't hit us too hard in Brisbane :|

Apologies for the lack of chatter- having technical difficulties with the mic and/or mixer input :|
Output seems OK though- will let the musc speak for itself!
You're spared my thin reedy voice this time :P

Guest is sometime Brisbane bwoy Justin Mullins with a live set of his own material- http://www.myspace.com/justinmullinz
