I think you have to use different midi channels

I installed a cracked version of Hypersonic 2 and had the same problem. Its a pretty shit program tbh tho. It is all we used during college and some of the sounds are ok. The strings can sound pretty good when you add in some decent reverb and EQing.

My advice would be to either buy it, i think its a bit over £100, or move onto some better programs. If you are looking for natural sounds try Native Instruments Bandstand.

I dont think Hypersonic is really worth the money.

I had an NFR (not for resale) version on an older installation and it was good

nice clav sounds, nice strings, nice pads

I'd buy it if this was 2005

Agreed! It's basically a general midi synth on steroids...

and yes, you have to use different midi channels to play te sounds from the drop-down list...assign a midi track in cubase and change it's number from 1-16, corresponding with the patches you selected in hypersonic...

right on... yeah, it's a cracked version. I heard it was really good with the natural instruments (i.e. strings which is what I'm looking for 'cause my good vst's just don't have quality string sounds... maybe I should just buy a violin ) I wanted to give it a go before I drop money on it... being that I produce music and therefore am broke. Although I have my first digital releases coming out soon (d'n'b format) which i figure is good since this month marks my first year of producing. so maybe I'll get some money for this shit before too long.

But yeah... thanks for the advice/help and whatnot
