JOKER:
This young man proves grime is far from dead. Even if he doesn’t describe his sound as grime, he just makes the beats he needs to make, it still carries a distinct dna. Inspired by 80s arcade games and electro his tracks always build on a strong structure and intricate melodies.

Releases on Pinch’s Earwax and Plastician’s Terrorhythm before even turning eightteen this artist has a lot going for him. Comparisons with Skream and Dizzie Rascal are not farfetched as his recent releases on Soul Motive (the slightly fantastic Snake Eater) and Kapsize (80s/Holly Brook Park) prove.

HENY G:
Heny G is the driving force behind the Anti Social Entertainment collective (see Kromestar, Quest & Silkie) whose artists are welcomed guests at Untitled! Inviting him over for this birthday edition was inevitable.

His sets and radioshows ooze funk & soul as produced in the late seventies/early eighties (see Quincy Jones) and are often produced by one of the ASE collective producers.

Gangster Boogie Music 1 (Arena 1/Retro Love) is out now and sets the tone of what to expect for 2008 and more so 2009.

GRIMELOCK:
Grimelock, strongholds of grime in Belgium, consists of four members: 2 dj’s (marsellus wallace & kaliba) and 2 mc’s (maelan & dynamic). With Brussels as their homebase and having grown from the now defunct internet radio station boups.com, they are partly responsible for bringing the very first grime and dubstep acts to Belgium (Roll Deep/dmZ @ Le Gazon, 2005).

Shortly after they started their Stainage concept parties at the legendary Plan B, from which a label has grown. Artists on the roster include Brussels based Alchemyst and Saviour.

Expect a very energetic set with lots of interaction between dj’s, mc’s and crowd.

Doors open at 22.30h and close around 05.30h. It's pretty easy to find either coming by car or public transport.

Train:
Get out at Antwerp-Centraal, outside take either tram 10, bus 410, 411 or 412 to Deurne or Turnhout.
Tram 10 to Deurne: Get out at the stop "Foorplein", stay on the left side of the road. Trix is situated 300m further.
Bus 410, 411 or 412 to Turnhout: Get out at the stop "Hof ter Loo". Trix is situated nextdoor.

It'll take you about 10mins to get there.

By car:
From direction Gent (E17 / E34-west):
Coming from E34-west / E17, choose Ring direction Nederland 2.
Once passed the Kennedytunnel follow Ring direction Nederland 2 until exit 3 Borgerhout.
At the end of the exit at the traffic lights you go left.
Go right at the second traffic lights, you are now on the Singel-Noord.
Follow the Singel untill you see Trix on your left. Continue for 300m and turn back at the junction.

From direction The Netherlands (E19-noord / A12-noord):
Coming from E19-north / A12-north, choose Ring direction Gent 1.
Follow the Ring in direction of Gent 1 until exit 3 Borgerhout.
At the end of the exit at the traffic lights you go right.
Go right again at the next traffic lights, you are now on the Singel-Noord.
Follow the Singel untill you see Trix on your left. Continue for 300m and turn back at the junction.

From direction Hasselt / Turnhout (E313 / E34-oost):
Exit E34 / E313 at exit 17 Borgerhout.
At the end of the exit you have to go right at the traffic lights in direction Singel-Noord.
You will see Trix on your left. Continue for 300m and turn back at the junction.

From direction Brussels (E19-zuid):
At the end of the E19-south you hold right at the Craeybeckxtunnel.
You are now following the Ring direction Nederland 2, continue until exit 3 Borgerhout.
At the end of the exit at the traffic lights you go left.
Go right at the second traffic lights, you are now on the Singel-Noord.
Follow the Singel untill you see Trix on your left. Continue for 300m and turn back at the junction.

From direction Brussels (A12-zuid):
On the A12 follow the Ring direction Nederland 2.
You pass the viaduct of Wilrijk and go through the Bevrijdingstunnel.
Follow Ring direction Nederland 2 until exit 3 Borgerhout.
At the end of the exit at the traffic lights you go left.
Go right at the second traffic lights, you are now on the Singel-Noord.
Follow the Singel untill you see Trix on your left.
Continue for 300m and turn back at the junction.
