.iso file ??

i got sent a movie thats a .iso file?
how do i extract or convert the file so i can see it?
is it like a zipped file, or an archived file?
i have no idea...
any help would be greatly appreciated ?!!

yo its a burned image file. open nero and choose burn disc image under copy and backup. you should also have a .cue file as well. good luck. pm me if that doesnt work and ill set you straight. ez.

You don't have .cue-files with .isos.
Easiest way is to mount it with
alcohol or
daemon tools.

.bin files and .iso files are broadly the same thing.

i still dunno what to do, its like a wicked large file, like 2 gigs.

Download Alcohol 120% mate
an ISO is like a CD or DVD, an exact copy of it into one file ... the ISO..
Use Alcohol 120% to load the ISO and Alcohol makes a virtual DVD/CD drive which the image mounts.
Mimicking as if u stuck a Cd in the drive

Install
Daemon Tools. You can then mount the iso file as a virtual CD (or DVD) drive on your system.
