i wanna take a course in creative writing at uni but i don't want to do it straight away, i need to get out in the big bad world and work and shit - there anyway that i could do this course at a later date?
i would look at one of them websites like ucas or somefink but i can never concentrate on what they're trying to tell me, man.

yeah easily mate!! you can apply for university at any point in your life through UCAS, so if you wanna come out for a couple of years and work/travel/whatever thats easy, just make sure you keep in touch (and keep a good relationship with) your school so you can get a statement done when the time comes, or get them to do one now and keep it on file for them to send off for you when the time comes for your application.
make sure you're hot on deadlines though, i'd imagine its much easier to forget about the deadline when you're not in school being constantly reminded of it.
hope this helps geez

You want to look at 'Sound Engineering'

Salford are supposed to have a good course:

Yeah gotta agree with Datura on this one, I did a sound Engineering course ( not at Salford ) but it was widely known that that's the best place to do it.

what like pop in and see how the head masters kids are?
If your older than 21 its alot easier to get on a course aswell, my mate just walked onto one this year and he was only just 21. Better to wait IMO, don;t want to be an 18 year old fresher...no respect for em

haha no, like don't piss them off while you're at school, i would never shut the fuck up at college and kept missing lessons etc. - in the end it led to me getting a shite reference from my teacher.
edit - i guess thats common sense though

it's the best for all types of engineering, by far. the industrial links are unmatched - just bear in mine though that some of the locals tend to have these nightly rituals where innocent fresh faced southerners run the risk of being slowly roasted over an open fire... of anywhere ive been/visited/worked, it's the only time i honestly felt a lil fear... that was 15 yrs ago mind so it may have changed
