psh02mix - broken beats experiment averaging 140-160 bpm, mixed on two turntables + two cd players plugged into 2 mixers and inlcuding fx, synth, traktor scratch and a controller. It also contains real time remixing (i.e. utilizing samples, loops, fx), triple- and quadrupledrops and a touch of scratching. The music is mainly dubstep blended with fragments of Mark Snow's X Files O.S.T. and Pi - Music For the Motion Picture CD which resulted in a dubstep-breaks-ambient-jungle hybrid.

Clint Mansell put together a sick soundtrack for Pi, it perfectly matched all that black and white monochrome imagery. This mix looks just as good, will d/l as soon as I get in.

Didn't disappoint! Superb. Dark without being 'samey', great blend of different tempos. This mix is even better than the original soundtrack.
