I found out yesterday from a friend that myspace converts the files from mp3 to its own format with a low bit rate.

Nothing really to debate is it. Myspace is low bitrate and so the top end and low ends are the first to go. You notice the top end more though because bass is quite a simple sound.

yup i realised this yesterday after trying to reupload a tune several
times using different file sizes, very frustrating, found virb.com, much better quality

been using virb for a while, much happier with the sound quality and it holds more music...
ie - i have two "albums" to hold my september tracks and october tracks.

VIVA LE VIRB!!!
