"His RA podcast is quintessential Garnier: driving, bigroom, and unafraid of jazz instrumentation or progressive touches. Beginning with Miss Fitz's controversial Nina Simone-sampling 'Drifting On', the mix travels 65 minutes of house and techno that is pure Garnier. There'll be a couple you know, there'll be a few that you don't, but Garnier keeps this party bumping throughout. In fact, you may just have a red face, by its end, from dancing so hard.

how to DL that?
as for mr Garnier, he has two really good mixes on cd's, x - mix 2 - planet destination dream and one double on REACT, forgot the name, one of the best dj's and selectors in my point of view.

i liked those excess luggage mix cds he did in 2003 on f communications.

i had the pleasure of seeing him a few years ago too. did a crazy version on "the man with the red face" to open the set with a guy playing the sax live.

"coloured city" has to be one of my all time fav techno records 8)

Probably my favourite DJ.
A very good 4 hour set is floating about on the net somewhere. From Electric Chair in Manchester i believe.
Out of any DJ i consistantly go back to his sets. He plays very eclectic set. His recent Mixmag anniversary mix is damn fine posssibly better than the one he did for them in the early 90's.

Crispy Bacon is a ridiculously good tune as well.

i hope you all know his "laboratoire mix"

it must be 12 or 13 years old now. timeless records mixed perfectly. a classic.
stand out tracks on it for me -

neil landstrumm - takks
green velvet - help me
3mb (i can't remember the name of tho')

the last track the classical version of an aphex twin record, a serious piece of music right there.
