I make the odd bit of trip/hip-hop. I just do what works its not about just making one genre, learning how other genres make and mix tracks is good for ya overall work I think personally!

yeah i make a bit of hip hop, and grime (which for some reason i find very hard to make) and a bit of garage. tried other genres too. i get a bit bored making one genre for too long, its quite refreshing to make other things sometimes.

d&b is my main other genre buti used to mainly produce hiphop/triphop sort of stuff,
basically i find if you sit down and just go with whatever it usually turns out better than if i had sat down and said "right im gonna make a dubstep tune".
i just sit down make weird noises with various synths and then put whatever fits with it best.
even made a folky tune once

I make techno(some might call it house though) as well. Real minimal dubby stuff at about 122 bpm. That and downtempo tracks. I used to make dnb like a madman, but I just don't get inspired to make it anymore. Working on an old school straight up Jungle tune has been on my list of tunes to make though.

I used to make proper euphoric trance. Stopped making it coz I kept going to the same presets and it got frustrating!

I was in a death metal band playing keys and messing about with the Reason synths in our live show and somehow got to making dubstep with it. Twas a nice progression, haha.

Been making some breakcore recently, as well as more experimental electronics using MaxMSP and the like. it's good to have a bit of variation i think. It keeps your ideas fresh.
