FWD LAST NIGHT

FWD was pure gold last night, Big sets from every one
EL-B gave a lesson in dubstep and it's origins. He killed it when he dropped stone cold (would liked to have hear 1999 aswell)
Loefah pushed the system to the maximum, did not stay to the end of the set though.
Geeneus and Youngsta where hinderd by the broke deck (cant belive went most of the night with one deck).
One tune Youngsta played. A loefah tune starts with some soul tune then just drops hard,
If both decks had worked all night this could have been one of the best ever. But even with one it was a night to remember.

yes, big night. was it just me or was there more bass pressure tonight that usual?
did anyone see that replacement deck - it looked home made! no pitch either.
it was a bit too rammed for comfort at one stage but it's good to see fwd doing well.
i'm thinking - why does one fwd get rammed and others not - isit totally to do with the line up? is el-b and loefah bringing out the heads? or is fwd just reached that level now?
big up to luke envoy warming up early on proper

El-b played original mix of 'cover me' by alleycats. Made my fucking night!
Yes boomnoise def more bass pressure than usual. I've never had my nosebridge rattle like that at any fwd before tonight!
Loefah bought the weight propah and. Big up el-b for takin me back to school.
Crazy was so on point man

was well well heavy. shame about the deck problems but el-b and loefah rinsed it... when ruffage got dropped, followed by haunted, i got goosebumps in places i didn't know you could have them. nice and packed, great vibe, etc etc. paying for a post-fwd kebab now though.

Not being funny but I can't believe a club like Plastic people didn't have one spare 1210 that actually worked

That fisher price thing was jokes. But massive respect for everyone for soldiering on and doing it jah shaka style. Was a shame that Youngsta couldn't get into the mix though, must have been really frustrating for him.
I think they found a working 1210 from somewhere for Loefah.
Big night.

how fucking hot was it in there though? pranging out really wasn't a good idea last night
el-b absolutely killed it, brought back a lot of happy memories...and that between the sheets sampling loefah rhythm youngsta played proper smashed it

Was a heavy night.....Would have been heavier if not for the broken deckle.
Bare hot in there tho or what......man had to draw for the hankerchief.
MetalBox, you asked me to look after your jacket.
Anyone know next weeks line-up?

Good night. Weird, but good

Felt a bit sorry for Youngsta though, this stuff always seems to happen to him.
By the way, you know that tune with the life support machine bleeps? Think it's by Kromestar. Am I the only person who finds that top end frequency completely agonising?
