I really love that sound, maybe not too dancey, but great for home listening.
Mwëslee's tracks are WICKED.
Have you heard the last hud mo EP? it's quite bizarre, but i'm loving it more and more. It's available in boomkat.

the jamie vex'd scuba rmx falls into this area imo, would be awesome to see more cross-overs between the genres (hud mo even played some dubsteppy stuff in bristol last time)

the word wonky is horrible...think its best left alone.
someones interpretatation of hip hop / electronic music really doesnt need a convoluted labelling.
everyone on here should check for mike slotts recent output.

Yeah... Wonky is a shit genre title - shitty word in general... the music described doesn't really require a title - like ballers said.

Other than peeps mentioned, I'm feeling Paul White (get his dazed and confused mix) and Bullion and Ikonika amongst others.

Rekorder - nice bits on your page
badger - ta for the download
ojo - beats are sick also.

ive been trying to figure out how to describe this style to friends as well. here on the East Coast(Gainesville, FL) no one has even heard of Flying Lotus, much less Gaslamp Killer & Ras G & such...been trying to spread the word tho. I got a Dublab sampler that is fucking dope you guys would like. Gaslamp has some funky ass psychedelic track on it. I plan on coming back tothis thread when i have time to click all the links.

my girlfriend calls things 'wonky'...but only like monkeys with funny faces n shit. lol. we both cracked up when we heard it used as a genre description.

I think ElectroFunkGlitchHopDownDub is a better name, yes?

The LuckyMe family are carrying this forward no doubt, thems are on it. I was well into Mike Slotts new track (forget the name, its on his myspace) that was played on the breezeblock the other week, sounded like there were some Ya'mashta samples in there, super sweet production.

Cant stop listening to daedelus' new isht to. Saw him at sonar and he blew my mind. By far one of the cheekiest producers at there at the mo....
