Went to a free night in Brighton recently my mate was putting on at the Pressure Point with some local DJs and Math Head supporting. the bar was open til 4, got drunk as fuck and had a wicked time, he makes some heavy psy jungle/breakcore stuff along with the bassline garage styles almost verging on acid techno at times. Been checking out his vinyl releases , just like his sets they're quite varied.

Saw DTL in Lisboa last year, with Rotator and Sickboy.
Big big big! Never saw Mathhead, but his material is quality.
Peace

luca is a total nutter, met him and zak shadetek completely by chance when i was in brooklyn at a grime party last year, came back from the toilets and there they were, both trying to shark my girlfriend! nice boys though and they seemed genuinely blown away that i had bought some of their music.

I honestly believe Luca is one of the most important artists in dance music in the world right now....hes so influential for me in his variedness....and I think anyone who goes from making one of the best Breakcore albums of the last 5 years straight to making one of the best Dubstep/House/Whatever albums in the last few years is someone very special indeed.....his live sets are a wonder to behold as well....I think last years John Peel Day when we had him on in Liverpool was one of the greatest sets ive ever witnessed....hes only 25 as well....much more stuff to come no doubt!

Both of those guys are really nice fellas with a real passion and enthusiasm for playing with new sounds.
Luca especially has nuts amount of talent. He makes quality music regardless of the genre he choses, and most of it's party music which is cool.
His new album by and large is top quality, lots of wicked 4/4 stuff in there. Triceratops is large! I hear there's a wicked Atki2 remix too which I'm excited to hear.

I'm not really feeling his new punky aesthetic... but I'm all over his older stuff.
His 140bpm stuff seems fairly promising as well.

the Rag&Bone 12" is : Hold On, Bad Girlz and Man Deer Hunted.
You should definitely hunt down Trouble & Bass 01. Split between DTL and Mathhead. Some big tunes on there!

Yeea met the lime when he came to the D with Kid 606. He tried droppin some of his dubstep tracks but the system requirements were not met. The bins just did not go deep enough to get his point across. He and Kid 606 definately rocked the house for those who showed up. Anybody know if they use a hardware sampler/effects module. I seen them tweaking on somethin and I could not tell if it was just a midi controller tweaking ableton or something else?
