The breaks used make it sound like one of his own bits.

This huge breakcore invasion could be cool... but not sure it's entirely positive. Fuckloads of the stuff just sounds like they're recycling the breaks they use in their breakcore productions (which in turn are recycled jungle breaks... yawn), at 140bpm... is there really that much point?

Imagine if shitmat started making parody dubstep.. it'd be perfectly possible, the way things are going.

Having said that, there's a really cool section from about 5 minutes in till 11 minutes. From the almighty father refix to the track with the samples from The Rain by Photek. Sick!

I dont think he would really do that though hes well down with it. killababylon cuts was a parady of all the shite ragga jungle thats being made using the same dancehall/reggae vocals over and over again. I think he is planning on making some dubstep under a different name, so is ebola from the wrong music crew and I spoke to him at glade and he is loving dubstep at the moment.

I know what you mean about the continuous re-use of the amen, and in alot of cases its used nowadays it can be a bit pointless and used because they felt they have to or whatever, but I kind of think it like a instruement now, like the roland 303 or a guitar, it can still be used well!

the set list is here

incidentally he's also making metal-mash/deathcore beats under the pseudonym 'drumcorps" which are sick as well

I think it'd be wicked to hear Shitmat make some dubstep - might lighten the mood a bit (or trigger a lynching maybe).

Needed to be done when dnb was getting all harder-than-thou a few years ago. Always thought that the Rolf Harris wobble board sampled down could make for interesting bass action - there's a whole cd of Rolfy remixes by Shitmat and friends, maybe they could do a dubstep refix?

This might be a very shit idea though
