New to funky

didnt like it much before but now im really getting into it. can anyone recommend anything decent?

if ur on about orignal funk then check out tower of power, sly and the family stone, parliament funkadelic, nils landgren funk unit and larry graham but that wont be much use if ur on about funky house lol....

they're starting to stock stuff in chemical and redeye too now. seen donaeo and roska in stock there

I'm listening to that mix above...pretty good stuff. though really not much different then garage really. Maybe less grimey more housey/funky. Gonna have to look for some of this to go with my house sets for sure.
