I love these watches from Japan, just thought I should share, I bought the top one which tells the time in binary code! I like the idea of having a watch that only you can tell the time on and looks like something from the future, shipping is free, I sound like an advert but honest I don't work for them.

Ridiculous shit.

They seem rather cheap though... How do they hold up against real world conditions?

Been around for a at least 2 years.

Hardly practical, i would want to know the time NOW and not after adding some lights up, multiplying by five then adding a few more lights!

I have a feeling it would just come second nature to you eventually.

Well I don't know how practical they are, we'll have to see, but really who needs to know what the time is anyway? It very rarely plays much part in my life, except for working out exactly how late I'll be for work in the morning and you'd probably get used to that like four blues and a red = really bad, two yellows and a blue = kind of ok.

I'd just like to buy about three of them and wear them at the same time walking down the street looking like the fucking predator.

but why don't people up think up new stuff, some guy invented the clock face in sixteen hundreds someone else thought up digital in the eighties, fair enough to paraphrase the words of the RZA "why you go biting their shit, why don't you come up with your own shit."

this is a more expensive american, probably more durable watch, didn't get it because I didn't quite like it as much.

I'd start pressing buttons on my wrist and then just going MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA in that voice. Then I'd run like a bitch before I got beat up.

My flatmate has this one. It's, uh, alright. You have to press a button to make the lights come on, so you can't just look at it. I guess ease of use isn't their highest priority.
I'm not entirely convinced by any of them, but if you love LEDs then knock yourself out.

Heh - I have difficulty enough sometimes registering what digital watches say!

Although, I do quite like the look of a few of 'em...
