Dude an entire Mission to Mars was a total failure for BILLIONS of dollars because someone did their measurements in standard measurement instead of the metric system, it threw them off by like a millionth of an inch and they would completely miss that way.
10 years of work, Billions of dollars and man hours GONE.
But hey, it's only our tax dollars going to build weapons satellites... you think a tank of liquid oxygen really costs that much? Negative.
