No you are not, but just...sometimes (first time) I need it....
Well, maybe have to take some paper and a pen and do some math. I just thought that maybe somebody has make it clear for self.

There are a bunch of Hz to Bpm calculators online. They should be able to do the math for you.

It's not hard
bpm / 60 = bps (beats per second)
1 / bps = time for a quarter note
1 / (2 x bps) = 8th note
1 / (4 x bps) = 16th note
This is the value in Hz you need to use for synchronisation to the desired time division. No shame in calculating it either - freerunning but synchronised lfos can be nice as well as those that lock into your sequencer (although it can be a shade random).

I really don't understand the point of this at all

For sync purposes. Once upon a time a man had to calculate delay times and LFO speeds based on the tempo.
You youngsters with your auto-synced VST delays and lfos... You don't know yer born!

Their is definately an 'effect' difference when gliding between lfo rates synched vs. free rate spin lfo.
But, why the hell do math when you can tweak knobs to get it right?

i like the idea of making music via mathematical algorithms
but wobble isn't music

And I think the wobble part is the worst.
