Ruffage is proud to bring Dutch-born producer and DJ Martyn back to Leeds for a very special 3024 night. Martyn first made his mark on the drum 'n' bass scene in 2005, re-interpreting his roots in Detroit/Chicago house and techno with releases on DJ Flight's Play:Musik imprint, and Marcus Intalex's Revolve:r. In 2007 he took the dubstep world by surprise with "Broken / Shadowcasting" - a deep dubstep 12" that gained attention from top DJ's across multiple genres, such as Kode9, Gilles Peterson, Mr Scruff, Pole and Laurent Garnier. With Tempa having signed "Everything About You" for their Tempa Allstars series, Martyn continued to produce tracks combining detroit elements with early 2step rhythms, resulting in the launch of his own label 3024 in 2007, and much sought after remixes such as his take on TRG's "Broken Heart" on UK dubstep label Hessle Audio. With his debut album near completion as well as his reputation hitting increasingly dizzy heights, be sure not to miss this exclusive 2 hour set, which will showcase why he is easily one of the most exciting music makers around today. Also playing on the night will be Brackles - one time national student DJ champion, resident of the massive Detonate night in Nottingham, as well as a producer with releases on Berkane Sol, + forthcoming tunes on Applepips.

Seriously, I realise I'm more than a little biased in this, but that's a stupidly good line-up for a Tuesday night in Leeds.
As if Martyn wasn't enough on his own (and a 2 hour set will be *more* than enough), to have Brackles and Ben UFO, two of the very, very best selectors in the scene, is just silly.
Tommy Grizzle on the warm-up will merk it too.
