I think Aphex twin does what he wants tbf. Some of it may sound like dubstep or not, but its always gonna be Aphex Twin's music and not a specific genre to me.

Bloc has to be one of the worst festivals I have ever been too! Just a load of junkies who want to dance.

I went to the one with Clark/Kool Kieth/TTC? Last year maybe? Possibly the one before.....

I was really looking forward to Clark. When he started with the first proper track off Body Riddle (Frau Wav is it?) I thought it was a sound check because it was so quiet. Turned out it wasn't.....then he proceeded to play a drum and bass set?! Surely you go to see Clark to play Clark songs? Not some mash up drum and bass shit.

The general mood I got from the whole weekend was it doesn't matter who playing as long as there was a beat to dance to.

now Im pissed off .. really wanna do BLOC just for the twin

See, I got this kind of impression as well, but not as hardcore. The members of this forum who went swear down that I'm chatting chit, but didn't the people seem quite moody, and alot of them were mashed beyond the point of mashed, and moping around the chalet areas for...well, the whole weekend. When I go to a festival, I wanna avveee iitttt, not just get battered and mong out.

And yes mate. I feckin rate Aphex Twin bigstyle, especially his old stuff. Already got a chalet arranged for Bloc too so I can't wait for this now.
