Wikked mag, comes out in Spanish aswell... likkle bit overpricey in my taste :p

I am kinda curious who can make the craziest tune strictly using those samples, though.

Why is it soo depressing for people to be aware of dubstep?????
Iv been on this dubstep stuff since like 2003 before it was even titled "dubstep.".....[like alot of ya on here im sure] and i find it refreshing that im no longer alone...
I buy CM and honestly good luck useing the samples that come included and they show the "tutorial" on Logic if you're useing logic you surely dont need a tutorial to make your tunes......also anyone can save some cash grab the right software and hardware[if preferred] and pump out track after track,.... but if they dont have the creative capacity, they're not gonna pump out anything but shit ....... no matter how well they've developed their skill....

You'd be surprised. A lot of well known dubstep producers buy/read these rags, as well as people starting out.

Expect the 'Dubs' section to be inundated with loads more 320's for download

I buy this mag. It's got decent reviews on software and hardware, and now and again the samples are kinda cool. Not sure about that dubstep guide though lol, everyone works differently, so to try and write up a step by step manual to building a tune seems a bit silly.

I hear Ikea are now selling dubstep flatpacks, with step by step instructions on how to build your very own dubstep anthem! I bought one and it had a snare missing

Are you joking! This happens to be one of the best music mags about, Future and Computer music have been bought every month since I can remember!

we used to read it when we were starting out, to get engineering info, it's much more useful to beginners than really high end magazines like sound on sound.

but i fully get your point: the idea that there is a formula or rules for the dubstep sound that can be condensed into a feature is depressing because what has got dubstep where it is today is the constant experimentation, evolution and erosion of any given thinking...

And sound on sound.... If you play music its good but its not aimed at computer based producers so how you can compair the two is beyond me!

The tutorial is silly as its all down to the person and how they work but if it gets new producers into Dubstep then whats the problem? They do it with every style and I think its good that the have at least noted Dubstep!

Yeah, sound on sound isn't really that good, I used to buy it. But in all honesty it's not great.

Sound on Sound includes a lot of stuff that won't be relevant for people making generic music with plug ins, but if you are actually serious about producion and recording techniques then it is the only choice.

Its a stupid comment Black, I dont need a picture to explain that son! Yet again a classic comment by someone who claims to know but by making comments like that shows just how dumb he is!

Sound on sound is a studio mag, computer music is a mag based around producers who work on pc's..... Clue is in the name!

The mag is great, free plugins, synths and upto date music production.....get a grip, what else beats this mag?
