"darling" and all that is strictly for good, good mates, otherwise it's slimey, greasy and strictly for turks. (as is "baby", usually pronounced "bebe".)
thoughts? or do you just call the bitch* by her name?
*strictly for dramatic effect, no misogyny here

at first we were calling each other baby,
during more intimate times it would change to me calling her 'sexy lil' bitch,
and her to me was crazy fool and variations.
then was the frog. one day with her hand on my crotch she started tapping her finger for some odd reason i think was music. anyway i tapped back. she loved it lol.
she seems to think that it was a from jumping in my pants ort sumit like that.
and one day she headbutted me (quite hard to) so i started calling her pygmy-goat (the mini goats)
apart from that only htee overuse of BABY!! <--I hate that word
That's love, that is.

depends really. If i'm going out my way to be a patronising tnuc i'll chuck a few darlins about, maybe even a sweetheart now and then. Strictly for added wanker i might even give em a wink and make a clicking noise as i do it.

Darlin' & sweetheart are both straight outta "Danny Dyers chat up lines for lads on the pull" handbook, out now!

To be honest, I used to use it a lot.. think I picked it up off one of my Aussie mates, they love saying it.
But then a girl (a good mate!) was like "urrgh, dont ever call me that again!" and it put me right off.

I call my best mate bruv, she don't seem to mind hahaa.. Its usually "love" or "gorgeous" - Miss and Lady work too, thats more for people I don't really know.. "Alright miss" when I dont' know their name .. or they ain't earned the right / don't worthy of being called gorgeous.

Dangerous one.
You risk both coming across like aforementioned Turk, or giving the wrong impression.
Strictly for good mates/potential vag.

Well, yeah.. I only really have good mates - I ain't one for meeting new people unless its a friend of a good friend, ive been in my little 'click' for like 5 years so everyone is kinda deserving of being called something like that - cause they know theres no intention there.. Know what you mean though, gotta be careful.
Love is a good one, so is miss for your every-day gash.
What about dear? I very rarely use it, its the one I pull out of the bag when I see a ex who I am still on good terms with, which isn't that regular (good thing, I think)
