Hi,

I haven't downloaded a mix in over a year or so.

Call me old fashioned but I like the sound of Dubstep from circa 2006 and 2007 when it was a bit more garagey using more samples and deeep triangle and 808 bass sounds . I don't really care for half time synth wobble fests and would like to know if there are any new mixes that are that keep a bit of that old style feel.

I liked the early subhuman mixes and the DMZ sound. I liked Burial.

Please give me a few leads if you could.

try whistla at subfm.com, there's loads of shows on the archive. He plays a lot of dark garage, among other things, but generally has stuck with the more garagey sound - even something he calls psychadelic garage!
