Ghetto Tech and Booty House

loved this stuff for years... to start off -

dj assault - belle isle tech. get it if you don't know it.
some wicked tracks on that - "madatchya", "technofreak" and "terrortec"

Made a ghetto tech thread a few weeks back, really diggin the stuff aswell but don't really have any good sources for vinyl / MP3. Any suggestions? In the meantime check out this illah mix someone had posted in the last thread..

I'm not really familiar with many more......although I'm sure there are loads more. Those guys were the OGs though.

Ghetto Tech was great.

I suppose Spank Rock are kind of Ghetto Tech????

werd up bredren, great to burn on a cd and carry around to any house parties or gatherings, bumpin dirty music always gets people partyin hard

If you do it right, ghettotech can be dropped intoa dubstep set, it's about the same tempo. Gotta do it with the right tunes though, preferably something grimey.

i'd have to get some vinyl rips out my mates record collection...

...or talk him into doing the mix :wink:

Booty House and Dubstep mix well if done right, unfortunately i didnt get a recording of it, but i got booked to play a Booty/Dub set a few months ago, people were loving it

IHR Records is a good starting point for tunes...
