Free VST HP filters

Does anyone know of any decent free HP filters?
Need it for cymbals/hi hats to be more specific

what software are you using? chances are, your DAW already has a decent one, no need to clog it up with other shit..

Good point!
If your looking to exentuate or attenuate just the high end frequencies, use a parametric or shelving eq.
Two freebie vst eq/filter plugins I'd heartily recommend include Cockos ReaEQ and KarmaFX Filter.

Flstudio's basic stock filter's don't sound that great when swept. Perhaps love filter, I haven't had enough opportunity to work with it.

I've heard some pretty good sweeps come out of this baby
Seriously, if your after decent filters, Ohmforce QuadFilter is pretty comprehensive. Antares Filter is probably the next alternative.

thanks for all the replies guys helpful, I'm using acid pro 7 but the built in vst plug ins dont work (not sure why

) i was using nyquist eq before and just cutting me bass out. Was just wondering if using other vsts would improve the sound dramatically
