Dirty Canvas and Straight Outta Bethnal present:
Ruff Sqwad, DJ Plastician (Radio 1) + Special Guests from Boy Better Know
+ DJs Cameo (1xtra), Magic (Soul 2 Streets), Hattie (RWD) and
Carmen Selektra (Touch)

Dirty Canvas (working with Straight Outta Bethnal) releaunches at a new venue in the West End, for a monthly night which will continue to show live performances from from the grime and dubstep scenes.

The night will feature one of the grime scene’s best kept secrets Ruff Sqwad, who have been together for over four years and in that time have put together an impressive body of work, in particular ‘Guns and Roses’ mixtape, the sequel of which (Guns and Roses Vol 2) will be available on the night. Also taking the stage will be members from grime supergroup Boy Better Know, featuring JME, Skepta, Wiley and DJ Maximum.

Pon the decks will be dubstep/grime crossover producer Plastician and 1xtra's Cameo.

Further guest apperances from mcs and djs will be announced....one not to be missed.

it's been about four months since i saw skepta spit (rhythm factory that time..?) - can't wait for this!

I'm going to be playing a selection of old skool / 2 step as my laptop is in for repair!!

sorry for anyone attending to hear some fresh grime and dubstep from me - although i'm sure the rest of the line up will more than make up for my lack of freshness on this occasion!!

mate play a set like that at plastic people next time yr booked for fwd and that would be incredible!! would love to hear it on pp system!

all told a really good night - sound was a bit ouch at times, but skepta jme and jammer absolutely killed it. glad to see plenty of people there.
