How do I automate parameters in renoise, ie automating the speed of a lfo or the cutoff of a filter? any help much appreciated.

no believe me it isn't
ie trying to hunt down one of my own threads by username and using some specific keywords and it brings up a few pages of completely unrelated bs
besides we need to help all the noobs to renoise as much as we can
with how overwhelming it can be to start up in
last thing we need is more people saying renoise is hard to use and fucking off back to fl

if you load up the renoise filter, then right-clicking and dragging the relevant control will record/automate what you do. or you can click on the automation tab near the bottom of the screen and draw an automation curve.

if you want to control parameters of a vst/vsti, then insert an automation device into the channel, and then set it to point to your vsti and choose a parameter from the drop down menu.

what he said. also you can automate most vst instruments' parameters with the automation "meta" device as well.
