i've got this thing that keeps popping up in my vst plugins folder. i know i put it there ages ago but deleted it and it keeps coming back and it puts itself into folders within the vst folder that didn't even exist before!
has anyone else had this problem at all? i'm going to do a search on the whole system to see what comes up but i can't understand where its coming from even after its deleted.
any help would be great.

It's from the interuptor tape delay, wow & flutter, echolive vsts etc isn't it?
Never had a problem with it, although I've got 3 instances of it probably due to having 3vsts with it as a component.
/malwarebytes gets warmed up...

i think its like a plugin for other plugins, as it were. loads of freeware vsts install it.

yes it's linked to Interruptor (Analogic Delay) and seems to do no harm

ah right ok, so if i didn't use the delays it wouldn't open. it just was annoying cos it keeps creating folders and making the list massive when you are looking for stuff, i like to keep it short and sweet not long and wrong.

What host you using ? In most (at least acid and cubase) you can hide ones you dont want. Go to plugin management or or whatever (sorry at work no access to cubase)

i'm using logic, i did delete them and then when i opened the analogic delay it reappeared. its not that big a deal i spose i just want to know why it was doing it.
i would delete it but its got a slightly different sound to the logic delay so i keep it.
i thought it was weird cos it was a tape overdrive plugin ages ago.

Some VST plugins create their own folder when you use them so that your vst host can access them faster the next time they are used.
The only way to ensure they don't come back is to uninstall the vst (either through the add/remove tool or by deleting the .dll)
I wouldn't worry about it. Loads of vsts create their own folders when they are used the first time.

JS MAGNETO V1.1.DLL also shows up in the folder for a VST plugin called "Dubb Box".
