Big night!

Sadly missed most of Ben's set as we were in the queue but when we finally got in it was sounding heavy and it was rammed! Really impressive (and lively) turnout for a tues night, must've been near maximum capacity in there! Big up everyone involved.

Personal highlights - Martyn playing: Horsepower 'Classic Deluxe', Cooly G 'Narst' into Burial 'Archangel' (the whole front of the room had their hands in the air at this point) 'Epileptic' into HH banton 'Sirens', Karizma 'groove a'kordingly', Kode 9's 'black sun' (love this so much) the two rewinds of Roska's 'elevated levels' lots of the new Martyn bits and loads of other gems (too many to keep listing). The whole set in general was really great and the last hour especially seemed to flow so well despite the fact he was effortlessly mixing between genres. The crowd were really into it as well - there was barely any space on the dancefloor to dance at times!

Brackles absolutely smashed it after Martyn. His mixing and selection is always so dynamic and he really works the crowd. He's definitely one of the most skilled/talented djs in the game and it's always a pleasure to see him finish a night. He played a nice mixture of garage, grime, funky and dubstep. Highlights: Martin Kemp 'No Charisma' (went down really well and sounds great through a system! Needs to see a release), Sunship/warrior queen 'almighty father' into 'midnight request line', the rewinds of both sides of the lil silva 12 within minutes of each other, firmhanded 'mind, body and soul', wideboys remix of 'messin', menta 'sounds of the future'... again too many tunes to keep listing!

Big up Ben, Kev and everyone involved in the night. Also dawntreader and his mate, Martyn, Rob, Adam Misst and anyone else we danced and joked with. Well worth the trip to leeds and the four hours sleep before work today!

(sorry about the essay/obsessive breakdown of the night. Just remembering the many good moments)

Was a brilliant night. Thanks to everyone who came down. It was the busiest night we've had. And the vibes in that room were ridiculous.

One of my highlights had to be Ben's seriously hype selection towards the end of his set: 'Skates' > 'Anaconda' > 'Aquafresh' and then Durrty Goodz 'Gutter Music' a few minutes later was too much.

Martyn merked it again. The two hours really flew by. There was an unbelievable collective euphoria when 'Broken Heart Remix' got dropped. He really is one of the best selectors around and it was great to see so many people vibing the music and not necessarily knowing what it was.

Brackles smashed it up at the end. Badman. My memory of his set's a little hazy (I think the drinks were taking their toll) but I know it was large! Good to hear 'Request Line' and 'Skeng Remix' again for the first time in ages.

Once again, thanks to everyone who came down and, hopefully, will see nuff heads on the 6th.
