Seeing as theres a heap of threads atm about getting proactive politically as a result of the govt in the uk taking away our freedoms and creating laws based on faith rather than reason, I thought it was time to start a thread with the question.......

What would make YOU take Direct Action?

By Direct Action I mean stuff like getting onto the streets in a protest, or taking part in a riot, or attacking institutions / people whom you deem responsible.

Theres protests going on at the mo about foreign workers taking our (english) peoples jobs.

Gordon Brown said in 2007 lets have British jobs for British people.

I still say that the UK should of never opened its doors to immigrants n so on, should of had the Austrailian rule where u need visa and qualifications etc to enter and live in Austrailia.

EDIT: I think also that foreigners have took over our fast food industry aswell, for example i went to my local KFC the other day and ALL of them aint english, they couldnt even understand me properly?? WTF??!

In all honesty, nothing really. I've got too much to lose by getting arrested or any shit like that so I just wouldn't want to take risk.

Lame, I know, but I'm being honest.

I'm pretty much happy to peacefully protest in support of anything I believe in... I don't know if there's a lot I'd riot for... seems pretty needless. People listen better if you challenge them in the right ways.

You know, I'd go to pretty much any protest that isnt just full of middle class marxists and crusties dancing and shit. Think these people turn alot of other people off protesting (the smell aswell)


Think the main thing would be ID cards etc.

- not this bullshit again, on the whole they only "take the jobs" that most english people deem too crap to do, or can't be bothered to do, i work with many immigrants and they work fucking hard and have just as much right to earn a living as english people do, this whole "they took our jobs" thing just appears to be thinly veiled racism to me, a handy excuse to hide prejudices behind...

What these protesting bellends don't seem to realise is that being English doesn't warrant an extra 20% on your wage.

If other people did the same job for less money then who's the company gonna employ?

And it's a real shame about all those foreigners taking jobs at KFC. That's shat on a whole load of people's dreams.

Honestly it doesn't take much for me to take to the streets. If you don't make a big deal out of every small thing they do, they gradually(because if they do it all at once they will alarm the flock of sheep) up the ante until you are in a concentration camp.

I also find it laughable btw that a country known for invading other countries(US or GB) are complaining about foreigners who move to their country... often because of the very policies that they'd never have dealt with in their own country, were it not for our invasion... Check out France and tell me how many Vietnamese there are, Check out Orange County California and tell me how many Vietnamese there are... how many Vietnamese lived in America before the Vietnam war?

Barely any. Our influence brought them here, because we went and caused a crisis. Laughable that we'd complain about it now, when they wouldn't be here if not for our foreign policy. Try to keep that in perspective. You don't want Indian's in your country, but did you stop to consider maybe they didn't want Great Britain in theirs, taxing their spices?

Something that is stopping me riot and protest more is a lack of connections to people I feel are on the same level as me. I'm starting to do this more and more though and hopefully if a similar thing is happening everywhere else then something good can come from it. Its being mentioned on here for one thing, so if we keep the discussion going that can only be positive.

Also, there are a lot of distractions to get around. I think the key is melding the distractions with the rioting.

oh for fuck's sake, what reason do you have to not stand them other than that they are slightly different to you? have they done anything that personally affects you? who the fuck cares what race the person who serves you in a cornershop is? if we didn't live in a multi cultural society i think we'd have a pretty boring time, as english culture isn't exactly inspiring. intolerant twat
