They're great.

Slightly derivative of Deadguy/Today Is The Day/Integrity...

But, they're like, the one band who actually admits to it.

The earlier shit. I think they've found themselves on 'Jane Doe' and on.

petitioning, jane doe, and the (full length) 'unloved + weeded out' are all classic.

'Heaven In her Arms' is my favorite song of theirs, but 'No Heroes' is their best album I would say. It reminds me of sludge metal mixed with crossover thrash.

Yeah they were incredible in 2005. I saw them with Sex Positions and the Dillinger Escape Plan. Had to miss them every time since then. That was in support of 'You Fail Me', though, not 'Jane Doe'.

'No Heroes' is incredible. You're missing out. =|

Well, I love 'You Fail Me' too, but yeah, 'No Heroes' surpassed my expectations. I remember back when they released an mp3 with a preview of every song and fiending on it until the record leaked, getting it from the record sto' the moment it hit the shelves.

'Jane Doe' was a 2001 release, 'You Fail Me' was 2004. I remember the Dillinger Escape Plan having released 'Miss Machine' in 2004 too, so yeah.

Everyone loves the 'Jane Doe', though.

Hell, I have a shirt.

Rockin' the 'Jane Doe' at Dour 2008 in Drumcorps' crowd. =|

I saw them live last year on April Fools with Genghis Tron, Baroness & The Red Chord, easily best act of the night, but with heavy competition.

I think J's lost his voice, poor guy, but he still gives good performances. Plus, the band is so tight.

I saw The Red Chord back in 2005, Guy dedicated a song to me. It was cool. Nice guy.

i'm torn between poacher diaries and jane doe for my favorite.

i dig the rawness of poacher diaries, but jane doe provided more song structure and melody.

So what you sayin'? I probably said that somewhere.... Certain aspects of music I like but then other aspects of a song I might not like. If you switched up the singer with someone who has a good voice (in my opinion), I might be a fan. Maybe put the guy from Shadows Fall in there, then I would like it.
