We wouldn't be very British if we didn't make a massive fuss about the weather.

GingerBreadMan wrote:Yeah, 6 inches of snow everyday for winter. Means your country is obviously used to it and is prepared for it.

Here, we don't get snow often - last proper snowfall was 2 years ago in Croydon and it hasnt snowed this bad since 1991 or whatever.

Why waste money on snow ploughs that nobody is going to use for possibly another two decades prick.
We just kinda drive over it here. The secret is to not apply pressure to the brakes. Just kinda coast up to lights and intersections and don't give it any gas. Once you tap the brake it's pretty much spinout time.

Very simple. No brakelights.

That's just retarded. What if there's people crossing the road, cars skidding across lanes etc?

You talk a mountain of shit sunshine.

Twelth day above 100 degrees F (39 F) here
with 47 predicted for Sunday.

At midnight the other night,
I sat in front of a blow heater on lowest setting
to get some relief.

Boss rang me to say the site's closed, it's too dangerous to be working outside.

No complaints here!
