Is it any good? was thinking of getting one for hitting out drums. I cannot find on the internet if it is even velocity sensitive.

It is velocity sensitive, but has a really cheap feel to it, almost as if it's going to break right in your hands.

but for the price, is it worth it?
i really struggle getting a non-computerised rhythm in my drums, and something like this would probably be pretty cool just for bashing out a quick beat on, i dont think id use the features of any of the more expensive pad controllers enough to warrant the extra cost...

Honestly, no. Save up a bit more and get MPD16 (roughly twice the price of nanopad). The difference is like Toyota to Ford.

or is the toyota better than the ford?
i think that confusion is your answer
if you want a nanopad, buy a nanopad, you may like it, you may not
if you want something else, buy something else
ima gonna buy a nanokontrol, because i want a nanokontrol, not because i want something else

I'd still take the toyota, fill the back up with bass and die in it.
