CUBASE & REASON REWIRE HELP

I'm running Cubase SX3 with Reason 4 on Vista and whenever I rewire reason to cubase, cubase always misses the first beat of a track in playback. For instance if I have a drum track in reason starting with a kick, cubase doesn't seem to play the kick on the very first bar but will on the rest. Same happens with anything i put at the very beginning of the reason sequencer. Does this happen to anybody else and does anyone know a fix?

That's the best i can word it, sorry if it's confusing :P
Cheers

Used to happen to me too... I 'fixed' the problem by using Reaper instead Image

I'm not sure why it happens though. I actually would start the whole project at bar 9 so that this didn't affect playback...

Cheers for the reply, mate.Yeah i have been starting projects from bar 9 as you said. Just thought it was a bit weird that it doesn't do it from bar 1. may be a windows problem cos it never does it on any macs i use with same software when im not at home.
cheers.

welcome to the forum Pempi.
Yeah I start at bar 9 mostly because of the problem i posted and also out of habit too because i like to leave some free space before the track because i usually make longer intros to tracks after i have made the rest

:P
