not to be a tnuc, but I would take all that will a pinch of salt. I mean with quotes like this about a Pakistani:

"Meanwhile, the remainder of his squad was standing at the top of the cliff staring at him saying, "dude, holy shit!" They then all went and took the third bunker with little trouble."

...I can't imagine the Pakistani army saying "dude, holy shit!" ..And the lack of any sources makes me wonder if any of it's true. It's like something Karl Pilkington would tell Ricky Gervais on xfm.

Cracked is a humor magazine, like Mad so the style of writing the usually employ is pretty informal. No Pakistani soldier said "dude, holy shit!" they just put that in for humor sake.

Everything else that happened is true though. You can even read about it in Yogendra's own words.

I checked with my dad, and the Audie Murphy and Alvin York stories are completely true.

Citation: For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity above and beyond the call of duty. Capt. Galt, Battalion S3, at a particularly critical period following 2 unsuccessful attacks by his battalion, of his own volition went forward and ascertained just how critical the situation was. He volunteered, at the risk of his life, personally to lead the battalion against the objective. When the lone remaining tank destroyer refused to go forward, Capt. Galt jumped on the tank destroyer and ordered it to precede the attack. As the tank destroyer moved forward, followed by a company of riflemen, Capt.
