Def Jux appreciation!

Always loved all of Definitive Jux, for the most part
Mr. Lif, Aesop, El-P, RJD2, C-Rayz, Hangar 18, Cage, Mr. Lif,
R.I.P Camu Tao
almost forgot Dizee Rascal and Del.
Aesop's lyrics are constantly ridiculous, and that LSD [Lazy Summer Days] verse in the greatest pacman victory is just fucking amazing.
for those who don't know:
http://www.lyricstime.com/aesop-rock-th ... yrics.html
(see verse two)
every word starts with L, S, and D.
Del, always consistant dopeness.
I could go on and on...
Def Jux are huge.

Def Jux helped mould a lot.
El-P is the fucking shit.
Aes has lyrics/bars/eccentricities for days.
plus that Can Ox album is a Steve Austen classic

took me so long to hear that & it gave me chills when my brain finally connected it. you would never really understand that verse if you've never actually dropped Lucy. Old Aesop is fucking amazing(up to Float i think)...but i must say i havnt really felt his last two releases.
El-P on the other hand just forces styles to evolve with everything he touches. Back to Co Flo & Can Ox and up to I'll Sleep When You're Dead...the beats & lyrics are seriously innovative.
+ the rest of the list. obviously. Still cant wait for the new Deltron!
>and i was recently told i was a 'backpacker' cus i liked 'backpack hiphop'...wtf is that? i sometimes wear a backpack. it is a handy storage unit for spray cans & sharpies. does this mean anything about my music? In the words of Mr El-P> "The thought of sounding like an OG fills me with sadness"...i love the old school shit, but Jux is a great step in evolution...

Do you think Vast Aire will ever develop the ability to do a verse without a minimum of 50 punch ins? He's got less rhythm than Ice-T.
As you can see, I think Vordul is underrated.
