i doubt matey selling the dubs is sound proof, random trio, the others, sno, marlow, distance, omen AND slt mob rolled into one.

even worse if the tunes aren't coming out. imagine you're the producer...transition get paid £50 for the dub, matey gets £XX for them on ebay, your tune never gets signed, and you're still poor.

who in the fuck would want a 2nd hand dubplate?

yeah exactly -- thats why im sayin u dont sell your dubplates. if a producer hits you w/ a tune, it isnt up to u to go n cut it and then sell it and u profit, not the producer!

In all fairness, I didn't go and do an Ebay search for Dubplates from Transitions, so I wouldn't know that there was more than 1 dubplate, or from these various artists. I concur, probably not all of those people. That said, if you paid to have it cut and you are selling off your vinyl, you don't sell that with the vinyl?

Now that you mention it though, I went and looked and checked his feedback and it's 100%... also 100% private auctions.

Have you ever cut a Dubplate? I highly doubt this dude is going to profit off of a Dubplate of a tune that you could easily probably grab off p2p know what I mean?

Yeah Appleblim got his bag nicked a while back and there was loads of transition dubs in there. It was about a year and a half ago though. But, yeah this looks well dodgy.

...to clear up any confusion, the dude that's selling the dubplates runs Boka Records, bought a load of old, rare records off him and I'd think it likely that they're dubplates that he got cut himself and no longer wants

it doesn't have anything to do with how many dubs you've cut or what your ebay feedback is...if you give a .wav to someone for cutting, you don't expect them to then cut the dub, play it 5 times and sell it on to someone they've never met before.

dodgy business. i'd be superfly tnt if someone sold one of my tunes on ebay

might be legit though, who knows. the others - ''flapjack'' is on one of the dubs...i swear that's been out on vinyl for about 3 years hasn't it?!
