Milanese - Extend

I have been waiting for this album for so damned long... the 1 Up EP was the best thing Warp has put out for years.
Listening to the previews on Boomkat, I can't help but notice a distinctly grimey/dubstep vibe in the background. This is no bad thing.

i thought 1 up was dissapointing except for that track that shifts in and out of time which is wicked

got the album yesterday ... what can u say, its milanese, my fav producer at the mo.
Some imilarities to 1UP ....
01 - Milanese - Mr Bad News <---- continues the trend from the 1UP E.P.
03 - Milanese - Caramel Cognac <--- breaking drums, heavy riffs and a beautiful voice ... I love it !!
the album is quality but then I am biased.
Check him out at Mary Annes "Warrior Dubz" launch party @ brixton nxt month. Saw him @ encompass festival back in May.... he doesnt dissappoint live !!

Milanese is badboy.
Billy Hologram on 1-Up is such a ruff track.

Caramel Cognac is one of the rudest tracks I've heard in quite a while.

big up Milanese... album is heavy. Especially liking Mr Bad, Mr Ion and of course Deadman Walking.
He's also done a VIP of cursor miner's Carnivore, which will be out at some point on combat... previews here:

Great album, for sure. However, the Barry Dub that he put on his site schools the Barry on the album. Simpler drums, but more dubsteppy and larger bass.
Milanese is a rudie.
