always a winnin starting point! its a phat track...
to be honest when I first heard the opening synth part I cringed a little bit (not in a harsh way, but in a bit of a predictable way)... but when it bends in ptch and almost withers into the snare all is forgiven... nicely deep...
but around 1:40 when the bassline tears in it kind of argues with the vocals... as the top end of the synth is the same sort of frequency as the vocals... I'm thinking you could make that sound so much more fierce if you were to cut the acapella in some way... and carve out something brand new from that?
you've got to admit it aint as heavy as the short drop at 4:00...
its much heavier because of the room its got to flex in
2:37 the tempo slow down, thats an inspired move... like it...
but yeah man I've also heard a few and thats up there with them easily!
safe man

hey thanks for your extensive review!
to be honest when I first heard the opening synth part I cringed a little bit (not in a harsh way, but in a bit of a predictable way)
yeah i know...but i wanted to preserve a little bit of the original vibe of the tune, so i thought this would be a decent solution.
but around 1:40 when the bassline tears in it kind of argues with the vocals...I'm thinking you could make that sound so much more fierce if you were to cut the acapella in some way
it's funny that you say that because i initially intendet to cut the vocals at this part but i kinda liked the slight cacophony of it.
but anyway...glad you're feeling it!

throw a 320 my way... lol last night on the radio show I played the JAYOU rmx of this then my boy dropped Widdlers rmx right after, it was comical.
All good tunes though.

thanks man...there were probably too much remixes out there to get enough attention.
