does anyone know if it has the stereo rewire option like sx3 ? im considering upgrading, and from what i understand, cubase 4 doesnt have this option any longer, and it would be a shame for me 2 upgrade if i cant rewire all my channels to stereo.

Why would you need to rewire in the first place, its audio and midi?

Maybe the OP wants to use Reason? Maybe he wants to use Fruity? Why would rewire exist if there were no good reason for people to want to use it?
To the original poster: I can't tell you the answer to your question, but i can tell you that if there are no long stereo rewire channels, it really isn't that much hassle to set up a template with each pair of mono channels routed through a group with one panned to each side, and then hidden... leaving just a stereo group channel. You only have to do this once, and then if you save it as a template it will be there always in the future
The hundreds of other features make the upgrade worth it IMO.
