Tri-Funk Appreciation Thread

Pre-amble: This is the Tri-Funk circle jerk. If you have a competing theory, we're down to read the thread you make, in which you should post that theory.

Wanking: You seriously have to hear this guys tunes. There are maybe 5 producers in the last year that I've heard that really blew me away not just with the quality of the tunes they are producing, but with the quantity of the tunes--combined with quality. I'd love to say this guy is consistent, but really he's not. Consistent would imply that he somehow doesn't increase his badman status with each tune. Every time this guy sends a new tune I get excited because I know it's going to be some funky technoey dubby IDM tripped out wubbed out cyber orgasmic new age James Brown with an 808 shit...

Seriously... Swedes know their Techno. We're not talking about the little namby pamby childrens shit either... chunky and percussive techno-step. So like Martyn on Steroids, with some 2562 space and some Peverelist funk... combine that with HXDB and XI production quality. What a fuckin treat is what I'm sayin... it's like all my favorite shit rolled into one spliff.

Far and away, one of my top producers right now. Really exciting to watch this guy, and hear how each and every one of his tunes is completely unique. Painfully soulful, all of his elements are perfectly balanced and expertly painted on the aural canvas.

Instead of repeating everything just said, I'll suffice it to say that Tri Funk is .... ESSENTIAL.

If you're reading this bro, big it up!!!! These next couple years are yours! :)

Mary Anne played a tune which is on the tri funk soundcloud labeled "untitled620" and she said it would be forthcoming on the antisocial label.
