Remember having a bit of a binge earlier this year and rang in at about 9 to lie and say that I'd been up looking after a mate that was going through a bit of a bad time, and said I'd take it as a holiday, but they let me take it as a day sick.

A few days later, they asked me how he was, and said he was cool, and said that I needed to get some luckier mates. Then got loads of shit for lacking empathy towards my made up friend.

Was chuckling about that for a while I can tell ya.

If they gave you 4 months holiday a year, I think people wouldn't have to be so dishonest - majority of work's bullshit for the majority of people, so what do they expect
