Just heard this beat that appears to be from Enter Shikari's new album Antwerpen the track is called common dread and is definatley influenced by dubstep.
See what you think:

You can tell they're not fans of this shit at all. They just grabbed a fucking wobble. So, in that regard, fuck 'em. They're only doing 'dubstep' because their amusement park techno vibe got old.

no they are not
they have done the same thing to hardcore that they have done to dubstep
steal a couple of basic ideas then made it more accessible to 14 year old girls

If they were? They wouldn't come off this half-assed.
Enter Shikari are a band who have no idea what they should be doing. Even as far as their "Hardcore", they're about six or seven years behind the times.

i swear all of their melodic lines are the same
just really...annoying high pitched arpeggiated lines that go on and on...and on...

my main problem is the horrible vocal, you'd think a singer of a famous enough band should be able to have some sense of tune

I don't get the hate. Disliking Enter Shikari for not being Digital Mystikz is like disliking Lemar for not being Otis Redding - they're just different things. Why waste your energy? Some metal kids may discover dubstep through hearing this, others won't. Either way, who cares?

I was hoping a better band would do this kind of thing, not some shitty pile of shit like enter shitkari.
