Mind on Fire vs The Pinch

After Lukid and the Mindset boys killer performances in February, March sees a bit more of a live band approach. We are extremely happy to be playing host to DC Recordings' Kelpe and a return of the Sirconical full live band. Be aware though that live music has to be finished by midnight (starts at 10pm with Sirconical) so get your glad rags on early and get down so you don't miss anything.

With influences ranging from the bleeps & bass of classic Warp artists to the spectral folk of John Renbourn, and the minimalism of Steve Reich + Harmonia to the percussive space-scapes of Tortoise + Do Make Say Think, the diversity of the music that inspires Kelpe finds reflection in his own sonic adventures.

Making the kind of beautiful electronica that takes in various sounds and ideas whilst nodding a head towards more hip-hop sensibilties Sirconical has been a favourite at both Mind On Fire and Pinch events, for quite some time. The live band line up integrates a drummer and bassist to spectacular effect. Do not miss this one.
