Reprise presents…
Reprise presents the first in a series of new monthly events at the Horse & Groom in Shoreditch, showcasing sounds from 100 to 140 bpm and beyond.
Upstairs is the sound of future dubstep, house and techno with Pangaea and Ben UFO of the hotly-tipped Hessle Audio label taking charge for the evening, alongside the long-time Reprise associate known as Muzzwold.
Downstairs it’s StopLookListen in the place – with residencies at Ministry of Sound and mysterious Hackney basement parties, disco, 80s boogie and deep house are the order of the day. Further Big Tony selections will come from the Reprise All Stars, throwing down the gauntlet with dub, punk, soul, new wave and anything else that falls ungainly out of the record box.
It’s free entry all night, and the venue is one of our favourites in London town – a classic British pub with bloomin tasty pub food, beers and ales on tap, movies on the big screen, and crisp and bassy sound in both rooms to boot.
