So what program are ya'll using to rip YouTube Audio Tracks

All of the ones I can seem to Google are solely about ripping the entire FLV and MAYBE converting it and are based on some shitty shareware business model that I don't care about. This means that there's still another step once I actually do rip the movie, which is splicing the audio track. Is there a single program where you feed it YouTube URLs and it rips the audio track ONLY and maybe converts to MP3? If not, should I write this.. Thx

I record the audio, while it plays with audacity. Quality wont matter for me because I rarely use them as is, usually process to fuck.

No. It runs incomsistently, in OSX/Firefox, but you may have better luck. Failing that, I use listentoyoutube.com which gives 56kbps mp3. :(

If you really want to rip audio off of youtube then it's as simple as:

1) Mini-jack to mini jack: line out to line in

&

2) Something like audacity open and hit record!

It's even more simpler. Press rec on the audacity while playing the youtube-video of your choice and it should be recorded. No need for cables.
