Old School Tracks To Play On the Funky House Scene

As house is well over 20 years old now there is obviously a massive back cataloge this is only a good thing as some tunes will inevitably get played as they are (re)discovered or pulled from the back of crates.

Now I'm sure there are DJs who play a few oldies along with new music which is all good but which tunes still get played?

Here are 4 tunes (just search youtube)that I think would be well received with the more garage\house\open minded events

Opinions on these please

Fallout - the morning after
(stone cold classic heavy (fuzzy logic type) bline and hard drums)

The Outer Limit - Dance in a Daze (same producers as above and another uncompromising banger)

No Smoke - Koro Koro
-Original UK Afro House years ahead of its time and still (I'm certain I heard a track the other day that sampled the percussion on this!)

Colonel Abrams- As quiet as its kept
-This is a Vocal killer

Anymore for anymore?

nuyorican soul-nervous track
mike delgado-phunk carnaval
Ive Mendes - Natural High (Sumo Remix)
John Ciafone-Everyday/Mojito
Mood II Swing -Do It Your Way
Mondo Grosso-Star suite (shelter vox)
BB Boogie-Tell Him (booty Bounce Mix)
Logic-The Difference
Blaze-Revolution Poem
Dennis Ferrer-Dem People Go
rsl-wesley music
Isolee-Beau Mot Plage
Julien Jabre-Paixao
Reel People-Spiritual
Gus Gus-V.I.P (maw vocal)
Soha-Gardens

Not so ''old skool' like the acid/original tunes in this thread, but tunes i got over the years which i think would still go down with todays new breed of house head.
makes me wanna dust off the old records and make a comback!

we should hold a 'No Way Back' remix comp!
i still play it, but its bassline is weak on my record, it also changes pitch.

On Trax? - infamously lottery type quality to their wax, Did that not get a UK release?

Where do you spin btw?

Yes, larry sherman infamously used to re-press on already pressed records, unfortunatley i dont have the originalk trax version, i have a trax 1998 repress.

I havent played (house) out for a while now, but used to play The Gallery turnmills, Refresh on the Thames, Crate diggers at the lodge and for Connected amongst many other bars and clubs, sorta got tired of house about 4-5 years ago, still pick up some bits from time to time, but i play more funk/soul/disco/brazilian nowdays

Still got my first press of that Traxx joint and a few others, still sounds OK even now.

For my money there's loads I could list but i'll go with these,

Santos-Work The Box-Traxx
Nuyorican soul- Nyorican soul-MAW
Metro-Brownstone Express-Nu Groove
Larry Heard/Mr Fingers-What About This Love
Sueno Latino-Sueno Latino-BCM
Ralph Rosario-Running Away-Traxx
plus a couple of more recent ones, well just under a decade anyway,

Rhythm is Rhythm - Icon- Transmat
and the first Sweat records 12" which i can't remember the title of and will have to dig it out.

Yeah the Adonis is a stone cold classic- that b-line compels you to dance!

Some heavy weights on your list but surprised to see Icon, Great tune but (imo) not an obvious dance record.

So has anyone checked any of the many tunes listed? If so what do you make of them?
