guys, my name is gembi from jakarta, indonesia. we currently don't have any dubstep scene here. are there any indonesian dubsteppa on this forum? so we can make an event like at FWD and digitalmistikz. come on, spread this sound in our country!
p.s. if so, it'd be good if we still use english on this thread, so our worldwide friends here can directly see how this scene grow in indonesia.

me of course! perhaps, this will only be mp3/cd-r livesets because the vinyl version is so hard to find (and expensive too) here. where can you get big speakers to put them in the club? hehehe.
maybe you, miss mary anne, and/or tempa's can give me any suggestions?

wow, you dropped dubsteps in bali! t'was really cool! i live in jakarta. most dj's in this country mostly play prog-house or trance. the rest is tech-house and electro. d'n'b, minimal, etc only can be found on more underground gig.

Music in Bali is seriously retarded. They actually have a dnb night run by a friend of mine.. and I'm sending someone over to drop dubs at a full moon party end of this month.. but if you go to the clubs there.. they're still playing Prog!! Like.. seriously. The place is like it's own little world of tacky trance and prog house.. completely separate to the rest of the world, and what's going on.
We've already had some dubstep dropped by the drum n bass djs here before, but this is the first 100% dubstep night. Actually Mr Dymz in Bandung is probably the best producer in the country. He's working on an album with Qilin music right now.. and has already done a lot of Dubstep tunes.. We'll have him in Jakarta in January.. I'm hoping next year I can get Luke Envoy and Jakes.. but we'll see how it all goes.
Fingers crossed, eh? Thanks for the support peeps.

man, prog is still the most mainstream music all over the clubs in this country. that's why dnb and also dubstep goes more underground. my friends that usually hear electronic music said, "what's this? this is boring" when they hear dubstep. haha.
also i've heard about dymz (reminds me of digital mistikz

). there are some DJ dropped dubstep sounds nowadays. the music began to infected this country on its underground scene. we'll see...
luke envoy?! wow!!!
